There are many ways to save for the future with 1st Capital Bank. Here are some basic ways but feel free to drop by and discuss what you might have in mind.
Regular
A Regular Savings Account allows individuals and businesses to make up to six transactions per statement cycle while earning interest on the daily collected balance. It does require a minimum of $100 for opening an account. The monthly service charge of $2 is waived if the daily collected balance is $500 or more. Premier
The Premier Savings Account offers tiered interest rates based on the account’s daily collected balance. Interest is calculated on a 365-day simple interest basis and compounded monthly with the interest credited at that time. More account information will be provided at the time of opening the account.
Certificates of Deposit
Individuals and businesses can earn interest on this account, which has a fixed maturity with a fixed rate of interest. You can earn the highest possible interest based on the amount of the deposit and the term. We offer terms of 32 days to three years. The minimum opening deposit for a one-year maturity is $1,000. Certificates of Deposit accounts with a maturity of less than one year requires a minimum opening deposit of $2,500. No additional deposits or withdrawals are allowed after the account is opened. Penalties apply for early withdrawals.
Liquid Certificates of Deposit
Great rate, great flexibility. This certificate of deposit allows you to lock in an interest rate for a selected term and also enjoy the flexibility of depositing or withdrawing (2 penalty free withdrawals of up to 50% of the initial deposit for the term of the deposit). You can earn the highest possible interest based on the amount of the deposit and the term. We offer terms of 32 days to three years. The minimum deposit for this account is $2,500 with unlimited deposits of $100 or more. More information is available at the time the account is open.
